Villa Chimera

Villa Chimera is a collection of two and three bedrooms types all of which offer an experience in style and luxury with a contemporary Balinese twist. Each secluded villa features a private entrance, swimming pool and garden, fully equipped kitchenette, dining area, satellite television, stereo system, IDD telephone system and air-conditioned bedroom/s, as well as hi-speed wireless internet connection (WiFi) throughout the area.

Chimera Orange (2br)

Entrance is through a covered walkway, through the main door. The foyer opens into the dining room and living room areas. The fully modern kitchen is located on the left side of the living room with open-air guest powder-room/restroom at the end of the room.

Opposite of the kitchen are laundry preparation area. Both kitchen and laundry preparation are completed with separate service entrance.

The two bedrooms are located side by side to the right of the dining/living room direction. Both bedrooms have indoor showers, cable television, air-conditioning and facing directly the 10x 5 m pool and its surrounding spacious tropical garden landscape.

Seamless Living Space

An oversized timber door leads into a private courtyard entrance edged by a narrow grassed area and low-lying tropical shrubs. This opens up to an integrated living space with an elevated ceiling of traditional timber beams and a wall of full length glass doors to optimize natural lighting and air-circulation during the daylight hours. The dining area features a six-seat table and flows into the family orientated lounge environment equipped with comfortable sofas and a DVD satellite television home entertainment system. This space blends the clean lines of a contemporary décor with several quirky pieces of tribal artwork and old black & white Balinese photos.

Gourmet’s Delight

The adjoining kitchen is a gourmet’s delight and no detail has been spared in terms of design, utensils and appliances. An enormous central island creates space for storage, food preparation and functions also as a casual breakfast bar. An outdoor service area features laundry facilities, additional sink and bench tops that are useful for entertaining. A small guest powder room is also located just off the lounge for convenient access.

Garden Setting

The entire villa is an L-shape structure with a roof of indigenous timber shingles set within a minimalist grass garden of tropical palms and a single frangipani tree. At one end a wooden deck with an informal outdoor setting and sunbrella overlooks the generously sized lap pool. The other end features a pair of sun-bed recliners for lounging with a good book or working up a holiday tan.

Restful Slumber

The spacious master bedroom overlooks the garden and provides a personalized adult retreat for privacy and restful slumber. With a décor that marries modern lines with individual art works, this bedroom features its own television and entertainment system and cozy window seat. The luxuriously appointed en-suite bathroom features a separate shower recess, sunken tub and double vanity recess.

A smaller second bedroom with double bed and private bathroom also takes on a modern Balinese look and is ideal for guests’ travel with children or close friends. Both bedrooms are fully air-conditioned for night-time sleeping comfort against Bali’s tropical humidity.

Chimera Green (3br)

Entrance to complex is through a secured gate to the parking area for four cars and management office to the left. A straight path to the villa entrance is through a massive wooden door leading to a covered gangway.

On the left side is a spacious open living and dining area, separate TV room and large modern kitchen, featuring the modern western kitchen, with separate entrance for service staff.

On the right side after entering the villa’s main door is an air-conditioned large king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom, complete with outdoor bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.

There are two bedrooms on the upper level, both complete with air conditioning and bath tub with separate outdoor shower and outdoor terrace. The 3rd bedroom is also equipped with an indoor shower. Both bedrooms are facing the tropical garden and lap pool.
